We are currently seeking a Safety and Security Specialist for Part Time Weekend shifts.

Available Shifts: Saturday and Sunday across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License in Alabama with a clean driving record.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Certification in CPR, First Aid, and SAMA is preferred or must be obtained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold the organization's philosophy of care and adhere to professional ethics and policies.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the facility to ensure the safety and security of staff, visitors, and clients.
  • Monitor parking areas and provide assistance to individuals requiring information or directions.
  • Enforce organizational policies by addressing unauthorized personnel appropriately.
  • Respond to emergencies and coordinate with law enforcement when necessary.
  • Receive training in Crisis Intervention Techniques, Client Rights, HIPAA Confidentiality, and other relevant areas.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to assist in managing challenging situations involving clients.
  • Document incidents as required and submit reports to the appropriate departments.
  • Advise staff on safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
