Key Responsibilities:
The role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Acquiring recycled materials to fulfill demand while considering overall costs, including price, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Collaborating closely with category management, production, freight management, and scheduling to optimize delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensuring exceptional service levels for internal stakeholders.
  • Managing inventory of recycled materials to align with production needs.
  • Supporting the strategy for recycled materials procurement.
  • Establishing forecasts for purchased quantities and expenditures.
  • Maintaining open communication with suppliers to enhance relationships and address quality issues.
  • Identifying and onboarding new suppliers to expand our network.
  • Negotiating pricing and delivery terms for recycled materials.
  • Developing and maintaining relevant spreadsheets for tracking forecasts and inventory.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience of 5 years or more is required.

Preferred Experience:
Experience in procurement and supply chain management, particularly within the recycled plastics sector, is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:
The position involves extended periods of sitting, with a minimum requirement of 8 hours. The ability to travel as necessary is also expected.
