Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated professional to enhance our procurement strategies for recycled materials. This role is vital in supporting our mission to create a circular economy and improve the quality of life in communities.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties of this role include:

  • Acquiring recycled plastics from various sources, ensuring optimal total landed costs.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective measures.
  • Managing inventory levels of recycled materials to align with production needs.
  • Supporting the strategic direction of the Recycled Materials Category.
  • Forecasting purchasing requirements in terms of volume and financial metrics.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers through regular communication.
  • Coordinating with production facilities regarding changes in schedules, delivery challenges, and quality issues.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Onboarding new suppliers and negotiating favorable terms for recycled materials.
  • Developing and maintaining relevant documentation and reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

Educational Background

A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience of 5 years or more in a related field is required.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management.
  • Familiarity with the Recycled Plastics Industry.
Physical Requirements

This position may require prolonged periods of sitting and the ability to travel as necessary.
