Key Responsibilities:

  • Championing safety protocols and practices.
  • Ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and collaborating with team members to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Overseeing compliance with environmental standards and requirements.
  • Fostering a workplace culture that aligns with our core values.
  • Gaining familiarity with all mining equipment utilized in the manufacturing department.
  • Planning and executing mining-related initiatives.
  • Conducting feasibility assessments and making informed project recommendations.
  • Designing crushing and washing plant layouts, including equipment placement and material flow.
  • Preparing project scopes, soliciting bids, and presenting summaries in a clear format.
  • Providing updates on project status, including schedules, budgets, and invoices.
  • Managing subcontractors effectively during project execution.
  • Reviewing and approving project invoices and allocating costs appropriately.
  • Overseeing capital improvement initiatives.
  • Completing special assignments as directed.
  • Maintaining a professional and positive demeanor at all times.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, construction management, mining engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in the aggregate or mining sector.
  • Strong safety orientation with comprehensive knowledge of Mine Safety & Health Administration regulations.
  • Experience in managing quarry operations, including permitting and production processes.
  • Ability to interpret complex engineering plans and specifications.
  • Proficient understanding of mining machinery.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with HCSS HeavyBid, HeavyJob, and Equipment360 software.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and AggFLOW.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be a collaborative team player.
