Production Assembler I

Role Overview:

The Production Assembler is tasked with the assembly of various types of Voltage Regulators within a streamlined manufacturing environment, ensuring that customer service expectations are consistently met.

Your responsibilities will include executing diverse job functions as outlined in the role description, maintaining an acceptable level of efficiency and quality in your work.

Team members are expected to assist one another and perform a variety of tasks as necessary to achieve production goals in a continuous flow setting.


Key Responsibilities:


Adhere to standard operating procedures and 5S practices, conduct visual inspections of preceding operations, and assemble and test various types of tap changers according to established protocols.


Assemble products in accordance with work instructions and quality standards, utilizing calibrated tools including pneumatic, power, and hand tools.


Collaborate closely with engineering, quality assurance, and shipping departments to ensure timely completion and dispatch of products.


Perform ratio testing on units and diagnose any issues identified during testing to ensure successful completion of tests.


Utilize overhead cranes and powered industrial vehicles for unit movement.


Repair units and components that fail testing, are defective, or require modifications.


Engage in the disassembly, repair, and modification of equipment supplied by customers as directed by engineering or quality teams.


Troubleshoot issues as necessary throughout the assembly process.


Participate in cross-training across various stations within the Regulators department.



Qualifications:
Candidates must possess legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship, both now and in the future.

All applicants must reside within a specified distance from the facility. Active-Duty Military Service members are exempt from this geographical requirement.

Preferred Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution is preferred.

Willingness to work overtime as needed.


Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; perform physical activities such as bending, twisting, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and using both hands to lift and lower materials, with or without reasonable accommodations.
