Role Summary: As a Production Control Planner, your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the flow of shop orders and production plan information across various departments by utilizing shop load and capacity metrics. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our commitments to both internal and external stakeholders are fulfilled.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current shop load and capacity to develop a capacity plan aimed at enhancing On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery.
  • Leverage the master schedule and diverse data sources to create production schedules for manufacturing, sub-assembly, and final assembly departments.
  • Assess incoming customer orders, providing lead times, quotes, and commitment dates for the process technology product line.
  • Maintain the Master Schedule by collecting and synthesizing information from all departments through regular production meetings.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and final assembly teams to ensure critical deadlines are consistently met.
  • Generate shop orders within the Company's Enterprise Resource Planning system to meet the demand for process machines, customer orders, and minimum/maximum orders.
  • Adjust due dates on shop orders to reflect changes in demand and keep the production schedule up to date.
  • Oversee shop order data management: investigate discrepancies, resolve issues, and close shop orders as necessary.
  • Monitor and communicate the progress of projects, customer orders, and other assignments to relevant parties.
  • Process Engineering Change Requests related to process orders and supporting components.
  • Generate and track shop orders to support Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), Non-Conformance Material Report (NCMR), Internal Service Request (ISR), and Customer Down processes.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required.

Candidate Profile:

  • High school diploma with a minimum of three years of planning experience in manufacturing or operations.
  • Excellent communication and networking abilities across all organizational levels.
  • Proven capability to work effectively and collaboratively in teams, across functional areas, and with both internal and external customers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Adept at developing alternative solutions through collaboration with other departments.
  • Self-driven with a focus on setting and achieving challenging objectives.
