To support our expanding portfolio, we are seeking Field Maintenance Technicians who will be responsible for various tasks including post-renovation repairs, troubleshooting smart home technologies, conducting occupied maintenance, performing eviction checks, and executing move-in and move-out inspections in the relevant market.

Key Responsibilities:
This position encompasses, but is not limited to, the following duties:

  • Install and remove marketing yard signs as properties transition to occupancy.
  • Carry out minor repairs following renovations as necessary and troubleshoot smart home technology issues.
  • Conduct pre-move-in inspections within 72 hours prior to resident occupancy.
  • Perform checks for HOA violations.
  • Facilitate in-person evictions and lockouts.
  • Execute regular occupancy checks.
  • Coordinate and conduct move-out walkthroughs with residents.
  • Schedule and complete maintenance work orders for occupied units.
  • Review weekly progress against key performance indicators with the Head of Construction.
  • Communicate promptly and professionally with residents regarding any outstanding violations.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related role with a focus on residential maintenance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word, as well as experience with resident management systems.
  • HVAC certifications are preferred.
  • A motivated self-starter with a demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt effectively in changing circumstances and handle ambiguity.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
