Service Technician Role at CEO Inc.

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at CEO Inc. as a key member of our Aftermarket Services department. As a Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our products and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Installation and Maintenance: Install and start-up aftermarket service products, including machine refurbishments and EncoreTM, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Component Repair and Replacement: Re-seal hydraulic seals on clamp and injection units, install pumps and motors, and repair or replace machine components, robots, and product handling equipment as needed.
  • Troubleshooting and Technical Support: Troubleshoot and correct control systems, including hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, electronic systems, and programmable controls, to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Customer Service and Communication: Develop and maintain superior customer relationships, coordinate with internal resources for effective customer service, and provide telephone support to customer maintenance staff.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Provide regular and effective written reports and maintain accurate records of product installations, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Team Collaboration and Training: Communicate with internal teams to resolve problems encountered in the field and provide guidance and/or on-the-job training to junior Service Technicians.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Mechanical and Electrical Aptitude: Possess mechanical and electrical aptitude, with general knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical assembly.
  • Technical Education and Experience: Hold an Electrical/Mechanical Technologist diploma or equivalent, or demonstrate competency through relevant work experience.
  • Industry Knowledge: Have knowledge and application of injection molding technology and blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Possess the ability to troubleshoot problems systematically and make sound decisions.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service orientation and tact and diplomacy when handling difficult customers.
