About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our team at ABM. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks and repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • HVAC Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including chillers, condensers, VAVs, pumps, water fountains, and hot water heaters.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and repair or replace filters, belts, and other components as needed.
  • Electrical and Plumbing Work: Perform electrical and plumbing tasks, including replacing lighting, ballasts, outlets, switches, and other electrical components, as well as repairing and installing faucets, toilets, sinks, and water heaters.
  • On-Call Rotations: Participate in on-call rotations with other technicians to ensure 24/7 coverage.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with customers and other team members to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2 years of field experience in HVAC maintenance.
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
  • Certifications: Pass a background check and obtain any necessary certifications.
  • Availability: Be available to work nights and weekends as needed.
