POSITION SUMMARY

Marriott's Global Workplace Services division is seeking a skilled Senior Product Manager for Technology Solutions to strategize and implement a series of security improvements across our endpoint systems. The ideal candidate will ensure that these enhancements are user-focused, resilient, and effectively designed to balance security needs with user experience.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Essential Qualifications:

Experience and Education

  • Over 7 years of experience in Information Technology, including:
    • At least 4 years in technology product management or strategic roles, with a focus on technical product road-mapping.
    • More than 4 years in software development, covering design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.
    • At least 1 year of experience in crafting written communications and presentations for a variety of stakeholders, including senior executives and IT teams.
  • Proven ability to lead, influence, and collaborate effectively within a matrix-managed organization.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills suitable for diverse audiences, including executives and business stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, capable of defining technology product roadmaps and managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience in project management with a solid understanding of relevant techniques and tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field, along with relevant certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Over 5 years of product management experience with a geographically diverse, cross-functional team in support of platforms such as Android, iOS, Macintosh, and Windows.
  • Experience in designing and implementing endpoint hardening standards.
  • Experience in developing and executing patch management standards for endpoints.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and contract labor.
  • Product management experience within a large, global organization.
  • Ability to navigate complex technical discussions and architectures.
  • Experience with tools such as Service Now, Saviynt, Workspace One, BigFix, or Intune.
  • Familiarity with Design Thinking methodologies.
  • Experience with SAFE Agile practices.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead a cross-functional agile team focused on architecting, designing, and managing the delivery of security standards and patch management for endpoint products.
  • Establish product roadmaps and multi-year strategic plans.
  • Manage risks and develop remediation plans for security-related activities.
  • Serve as the primary contact for the implementation of security standards across endpoints.
  • Conduct regular assessments of capabilities and emerging technologies to ensure optimal user experience.
  • Collaborate with key partners and vendors to align on roadmaps and product offerings.
  • Utilize Agile SAFE and Design Thinking to define and evaluate requirements against an application strategy.
  • Prototype and ideate with engineering teams to execute the application strategy.
  • Oversee the backlog and team management for responsible platforms.
  • Advocate for end-user needs through research and feedback mechanisms.
  • Engage regularly with security teams and stakeholders to ensure timely and budget-compliant deliverables.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting and analysis.
  • Evaluate information to identify optimal solutions to problems.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information for reporting purposes.
  • Represent the team in resolving issues.
