Position Overview

Health Plus Management LLC is seeking dedicated professionals for the role of X-Ray Technician. This position involves conducting radiographic diagnostic imaging procedures that assist healthcare providers in identifying medical conditions and injuries. The ideal candidate will utilize advanced technology to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging while adhering to safe practices.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure a safe and hygienic working environment by following established protocols and regulations.
  • Enhance patient comfort by addressing concerns, providing clear explanations of procedures, and responding to inquiries.
  • Implement radiation safety measures to minimize exposure for both patients and staff, employing shielding techniques and understanding exposure parameters.
  • Maintain the quality and efficiency of radiographic images by adhering to established guidelines and making necessary adjustments based on observations.
  • Accurately document patient interactions and imaging services in relevant records.
Qualifications
  • Possession of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Science or completion of an accredited radiologic technology program. Must be licensed and registered in New York and/or Connecticut and certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Skills and Expertise
  • Comprehensive understanding of radiographic procedures, equipment operation, and radiation safety protocols.
  • Proficient in patient handling and positioning techniques to ensure optimal imaging results.
