Position Overview:

Shifts:
Variable day and night shifts are available, including hours from 8am to 4:30pm and 11:30pm to 8am, with a weekend rotation as required.

Compensation is competitive, starting at $16 per hour, with additional pay for shift differentials. A high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution is necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome patients and manage their transition from waiting areas to examination rooms, ensuring all necessary forms are completed.
  • Assess patient prescriptions to confirm the appropriate examinations are conducted based on individual health concerns.
  • Execute all necessary Cerner functions and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring they are comfortable and informed.
  • Assist technologists during examinations, providing support to patients, technologists, and radiologists throughout the process.
  • Retrieve and manage x-rays, medical records, and nuclear medicine reports as required.
  • Deliver films to radiologists for evaluation.
  • Maintain cleanliness in examination rooms, restocking supplies as needed.
  • Adhere to all compliance regulations associated with the role.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
High school graduation or equivalent is required.

Experience:
While no prior experience is mandatory, candidates with up to six months of experience in a similar role are preferred. Familiarity with radiological services and departmental procedures is advantageous.

Working Conditions:
This role requires significant manual dexterity and coordination, with potential exposure to occupational hazards. Physical demands may include lifting up to 50 lbs and working in environments with various stimuli such as noise and odors.
