Position Overview
We are seeking skilled Interventional Radiology Technologists to enhance our team.
Company: Nuvance Health
Compensation: $20,000 SIGN ON BONUS + potential relocation package + excellent benefits.
About the Role:
As a vital member of our nationally recognized radiology team, you will have the opportunity to advance your career in a supportive environment. This position operates on a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional on-call responsibilities.
Qualifications:
To qualify, candidates must possess ARRT certification, BLS, and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support). Experience in scrubbing is highly preferred, and ideal candidates will have a minimum of three years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring accuracy and compliance with physician orders.
- Assist and scrub with radiologists while adhering to universal precautions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns.
- Administer and document isotope dosages according to established protocols.
- Monitor patients during procedures, reporting any irregularities and ensuring radiation safety.
- Manage inventory and order necessary supplies, maintaining daily stock levels.
- Accurately document patient accounts and schedule interventional procedures.
- Ensure optimal radiographic quality for accurate diagnoses, verifying proper identification on all films.
- Complete all continuing medical education (CME) tasks prior to case dictation.
- Adhere to compliance responsibilities associated with the role.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
This role requires significant manual dexterity and motor coordination, with the physical ability to exert up to 50 lbs. of force. The work environment may involve exposure to various elements.
