Job Summary

As a key member of the Livingstone College team, the Financial Aid Administrative Assistant will serve as the first point of contact for the office, providing information and managing inquiries. This role requires a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, parents, and staff, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage office resources, including equipment, supplies, and inventory, to ensure efficient use and minimize waste.
  • Assist with financial aid processing, including document verification, data entry, and record-keeping.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and databases to support financial aid operations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, promoting a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as financial aid, administrative assistance, or customer service.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
