Key divisions include Media Platform (linear channels & OTT platform), TV & Film (notable production studios), and commerce. The company is also known for KCON, the largest convention celebrating Korean pop culture, which has evolved into a global phenomenon.

Position Summary: CJ ENM America is on the lookout for interns to become part of its scripted television division. Ideal candidates should possess a keen interest in the global television landscape, scripted series creation, and the creative workflow. Candidates should be pursuing or have recently completed a degree in film, media studies, or English/creative writing. This internship is a paid part-time role based in our Downtown Los Angeles office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating creative content (scripts, novels, webtoons, etc.) and delivering insightful written feedback for development teams.
  • Crafting episodic summaries for CJ ENM's Korean drama formats and intellectual properties.
  • Conducting research on potential project concepts and trending themes to support creative initiatives.
  • (If bilingual) Translating and localizing creative documents between Korean and English.
  • Performing general administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled in a college/university or have graduated within the last six months.
  • A strong enthusiasm for television and/or international scripted content is essential.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
  • Unrestricted work authorization is required.
  • Fluency in Korean is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, etc.) is necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are expected.
