Role Responsibilities
As a key contributor, you will:
1. Spearhead labor optimization initiatives for new models to meet labor efficiency goals through benchmarking and performance tracking.
2. Facilitate the planning of cycle line layouts and participate in virtual build events, ensuring optimal operator allocations and conducting time studies.
3. Mitigate labor challenges by implementing strategic blitzes, engaging in plant tasks/projects, and identifying design and process enhancements.
4. Assist in operator allocations, cycle line configurations, plant adjustments, line speed modifications, and support during launches.
5. Maintain and present essential Industrial Engineering documentation, including Labor Glidepath and Program summaries.

Collaboration and Evaluation
Work closely with manufacturing engineering, material handling, ergonomics, and plant teams to align on capacity reporting and operational patterns.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing operations; Co-Op experience is considered.
  • Preferred experience in Plant Industrial Engineering and manufacturing operations.
  • Familiarity with MODAPTS is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
  • Ability to perform under pressure.
