As a key member of our Manufacturing team, you will play a vital role in the development and implementation of cutting-edge processes and technologies in our battery manufacturing operations. Your expertise will help us maintain our reputation for excellence in the production of New Energy Vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement manufacturing processes: Lead the engineering of line layouts and oversee the launch of manufacturing facilities specifically for Cell-to-Pack Module Assembly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with Product Development, Purchasing, and Suppliers to ensure manufacturability and drive design improvements for new battery products.
  • Engage with OEMs: Partner with original equipment manufacturers to design manufacturing equipment, processes, and tooling that enhance production efficiency.
  • Innovate automation solutions: Collaborate with technology partners to develop competitive automation solutions that improve productivity and return on investment.
  • Establish quality methods: Lead the development of quality assurance methods, including process failure mode and effects analysis (PFMEA), and create comprehensive control plans aligned with our quality strategy.
  • Optimize assembly systems: Define workstation requirements and develop strategies for cycle time, overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), and labor optimization.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets: Oversee project schedules and financials to ensure successful execution of manufacturing initiatives.
  • Facilitate equipment installation: Coordinate with various teams to ensure the successful installation and acceptance of manufacturing equipment.
  • Support plant operations: Assist in achieving system performance objectives and ensure a smooth transition of processes to plant operations.
  • Create documentation: Develop detailed manufacturing instructions and process documentation to support new technologies and methods.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in major manufacturing projects.
  • Proven knowledge of automated liquid dispensing systems and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with Cell-to-Pack Module Assembly processes is highly desirable.
  • Background in implementing large-scale projects as a manufacturing engineer or project manager.
  • Familiarity with simulation tools and digital methods, including AutoCAD and Siemens PLM.
  • Hands-on experience in dynamic manufacturing environments.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness to travel and adapt to various work arrangements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
