Core Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading manufacturing engineering efforts throughout the lifecycle of new models, from initial concept through to final assembly
  • Designing tooling and facilities in alignment with product and process specifications
  • Applying lean manufacturing methodologies
  • Conducting virtual manufacturing assembly simulations
  • Addressing manufacturing challenges and collaborating with Design and Release teams
  • Developing assembly process documentation and integrating it into the VPS system
  • Supervising assembly tooling specifications, installation, and commissioning at the production facility
  • Driving improvements in quality, cost, and labor efficiency
  • Supporting new model introductions, which may require travel and on-site involvement
  • Ensuring the delivery of precisely dimensioned components for each system
  • Creating cycle line layouts in preparation for product launches
  • Working effectively under time constraints and with minimal oversight
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in mechanical or a related manufacturing engineering discipline
  • A willingness to travel and engage in launch activities at North American Assembly plants
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with virtual manufacturing tools is advantageous
  • A background in tooling, process, quality, or facility equipment is beneficial
  • Strong communication abilities and a solid understanding of statistical analysis
