Role Overview: As a key contributor in the manufacturing engineering domain, you will provide leadership throughout the development of new models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement new production equipment, operator workstations, and facilities in alignment with product and process modifications.
  • Support assembly build events on-site to ensure smooth operations.
  • Compile and distribute daily metrics in both standard letter format and Excel format.
  • Identify and resolve manufacturing-related challenges effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Plant Engineering, and Suppliers.
  • Write, modify, and maintain process documentation as necessary.
  • Lead the installation, start-up, and commissioning of assembly tooling at the designated site.
  • Facilitate tooling buy-off processes at vendor facilities.
  • Conduct pre-build validation events for prototype builds at the pilot plant.
  • Assist in preparing management reviews and gathering data for presentations.
  • Drive improvements in quality, cost, and labor during the launch phase.
  • Support plant throughput acceleration during launches by identifying and resolving constraints, including leading documentation for daily throughput reports.
  • Assist with the installation of error-proofing measures as required.
  • Contribute to preventive maintenance planning for all new tooling during launches.
  • Complete documentation for spare parts and ensure all industrial material documentation is finalized.
  • Ensure compliance with internal ergonomic guidelines for all new tooling and processes.
