Emergency Veterinary Care Technician

**About the Role:**

As an Emergency Veterinary Care Technician, your responsibilities will include:

+ Delivering high-quality nursing support to our patients in alignment with the hospital's care standards and core values.

+ Communicating patient details, including signalment and treatment plans, during nursing rounds.

+ Utilizing advanced software systems for patient management.

+ Recognizing the classification of frequently used medications, monitoring their effects, and ensuring appropriate therapeutic responses.

+ Administering medications through a modern digital pharmacy system.

+ Conducting phlebotomy and catheter placements, including IVC, PICC lines, and more.

+ Executing NG tube and urinary catheter placements.

+ Maintaining tracheostomy and feeding tubes as required.

+ Performing and analyzing in-house laboratory tests using cutting-edge technology.

+ Monitoring patients during sedation and anesthesia, with a solid understanding of the necessary equipment.

+ Staying updated on Basic and Advanced R.E.C.O.V.E.R CPR protocols.

**Compensation:** The starting salary is based on experience and progression through our leveling system. Candidates with VTS credentials may receive compensation that reflects their expertise.
