Position Overview:
The Client Relationship Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the Brokerage team by facilitating transactions, overseeing client accounts, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This position requires collaboration with various internal departments, staying updated on market dynamics, and providing strategic insights regarding client needs. Additionally, the role involves assisting with both new business initiatives and the renewal process, reviewing policy documents, invoices, and other client service tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepares accounts for new business opportunities and the renewal process as directed by the broker, initiating renewal assessments to ensure optimal client coverage and recommending strategies for client retention.
  • Assists the broker in developing market submissions and crafting quote cover letters for agents, while meticulously reviewing received documents for accuracy.
  • Fosters relationships with brokers and demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of brokerage operations to proactively address business requirements.
  • Collaborates with the broker to drive renewals and actively seeks new business through client referrals.
  • Develops new business strategies in partnership with brokers, including proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
  • Assesses and mitigates risks associated with client accounts, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
  • Maintains the accuracy of new and existing data within internal systems, generates precise documentation, and performs tasks as outlined by established guidelines while meeting quality and service standards.
  • Produces reports on performance and other defined metrics by utilizing data and insights to inform the broker about portfolio trends, delivering value that may enhance the business portfolio.
  • Works with internal teams to ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled, resolving invoicing discrepancies with stakeholders in Premium Accounting and communicating on cancellation notices.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in the Insurance sector, complemented by a Bachelor's degree.
Educational Background:
  • A Bachelor's degree is required; preferred fields include Business Administration, Sales, and Risk Management. Other related disciplines or equivalent work experience will be considered.
Licenses and Certifications:
  • Required: Minimum state P&C and/or surplus line licenses.
  • Preferred: Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR), Commercial Insurance License (CIL).

The target salary range for this position is $62,000 to $81,375 annually. The wage range considers various factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be adjusted in the future. Full-time positions are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
