Business Development Representative

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of educators and learners by joining our Higher Ed Sales team as a Business Development Representative.
As a key member of our National Sales team, you will work in a collaborative environment where we create opportunities for learners and celebrate successes.

We are looking for a team member who is highly organized, can independently problem solve, and brings perseverance to their work.
Candidates with a strong background in sales or higher education industry experience are preferred.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive revenue by communicating with new and existing customers through inbound lead follow-up via outbound calls and emails.
- Utilize sales skills and tools to identify instructor needs and close new business.
- Work with existing customers to retain business, update to new editions, and drive success within our digital platforms.
- Demonstrate McGraw Hill's digital products via web conferencing tools.
- Communicate effectively with internal product specialists and marketing for assistance on targeted opportunities.
- Perform daily, weekly, and seasonal planning for assigned higher education accounts.
- Successfully complete ongoing company training requirements.

The pay range for this position is between $40,000 and $60,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
An annual sales incentive plan is included as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
