At McGraw-Hill Education, we're committed to building meaningful relationships with educators and learners. Our Higher Ed Sales team thrives on creating opportunities for learners and celebrating successes. We're looking for a Business Development Representative to join our National Sales team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive revenue by communicating with new and existing customers through inbound lead follow-up via outbound calls and emails.
  • Utilize sales skills and tools to identify instructor needs and close new business.
  • Work with existing customers to retain business, update to new editions, and drive success within our digital platforms.
  • Demonstrate McGraw Hill's digital products via web conferencing tools.
  • Communicate effectively with internal product specialists and marketing for assistance on targeted opportunities.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and seasonal planning for assigned higher education accounts.
  • Successfully complete ongoing company training requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of sales or higher education industry experience is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong digital skills and ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic/complex environment.
  • Strong team player.
  • Demonstrates positive winning attitude.

The pay range for this position is between $40,000 and $60,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual sales incentive plan is included as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
