As a Business Development Representative, you'll work in a collaborative environment where we drive revenue by communicating with new and existing customers through inbound lead follow-up via outbound calls and emails. You'll utilize sales skills and tools to identify instructor needs and close new business. You'll also work with existing customers to retain business, update to new editions, and drive success within our digital platforms.

We're looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of sales or higher education industry experience. You'll need strong written and verbal communication skills, strong digital skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic/complex environment. You'll also need to be a strong team player with a positive winning attitude.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive revenue by communicating with new and existing customers through inbound lead follow-up via outbound calls and emails.
  • Utilize sales skills and tools to identify instructor needs and close new business.
  • Work with existing customers to retain business, update to new editions, and drive success within our digital platforms.
  • Communicate effectively with internal product specialists and marketing for assistance on targeted opportunities.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and seasonal planning for assigned higher education accounts.
  • Successfully complete ongoing company training requirements.

What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary range of $40,000 - $52,000 annually.
  • An annual sales incentive plan.
