Medical Office Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic healthcare team at Addison Group. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk duties, and ensuring the efficient flow of patient information and appointments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide top-notch customer service to patients and visitors, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of patient information.
- Verify insurance and collect copayments, maintaining accurate records and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring seamless communication with patients and healthcare providers.
- Maintain and update patient records, including demographic and insurance details, to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Handle follow-up appointments and ensure smooth patient flow, minimizing wait times and maximizing patient satisfaction.
- Perform general administrative duties, including phone system management, faxing, and scanning, to maintain a well-organized and efficient front desk.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficiency with medical software, preferably Athena.
- Previous experience in a medical office, with OBGYN experience a plus.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation to travel between office locations, with prior notice given for scheduling purposes.
Additional Details:
- Contract-to-Hire (CTH) position.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with flexibility to accommodate patient volume.
- Must be able to travel between multiple locations, with prior notice given for scheduling purposes.
