About The Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine

Our mission is to deliver advanced wound care and hyperbaric medicine services to the Southern New England community.

Role Responsibilities

As an Advanced Practitioner, you will:

  • Conduct thorough diagnoses and assessments of patients with wound care needs.
  • Order and interpret necessary laboratory tests and imaging studies.
  • Manage Hyperbaric oxygen therapy for patients.
  • Coordinate comprehensive care for assigned patients, including nursing interventions, nutritional support, medications, and wound management therapies.
  • Document patient progress, maintain accurate medical records, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Master's program.
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Connecticut.
  • Certification or eligibility for certification as a Physician Assistant or National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Preferred experience or certification in wound care; training in Hyperbaric Therapy will be provided.
