About The Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine
Our mission is to deliver specialized wound care and hyperbaric medicine therapies to the Southern New England region.
Role Responsibilities of the Advanced Practitioner
· Conduct thorough patient evaluations and wound assessments
· Order and interpret necessary lab tests and imaging studies, ensuring proficiency in advanced cardiac life support
· Oversee Hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatments
· Coordinate comprehensive care for assigned patients, including nursing interventions, nutritional support, medication management, dressings, and adjunctive therapies
· Maintain accurate patient records, including progress notes and data tabulation

Qualifications
Requirements for Advanced Practitioners
· Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Master's program. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Connecticut
· Certification or eligibility for certification as a Physician Assistant, or National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
· Preferred experience or certification in wound care; training in Hyperbaric Therapy will be provided
