Role of the Nurse Practitioner
The Nurse Practitioner will operate within an outpatient environment, collaborating with a dedicated team of physicians and advanced practice providers specializing in General Surgery. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing patient care, including initial consultations, follow-up for post-operative care, and inpatient care coordination.
- Performing in-office procedures such as excisions, drainage, and complex wound management.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Opportunity to assist in the operating room.

- Preferred experience in surgical settings, particularly in general, plastics, or colorectal surgery.
