Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our team. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining lasting customer relationships, providing expert advice on our products and solutions, and driving sales growth in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting and Business Development: Identify new business opportunities in your defined territory through networking, scheduling appointments, and conducting sales-generating activities.
  • Annual Forecast and Sales Planning: Develop a comprehensive annual forecast for your assigned territory and execute a sales plan to effectively meet or exceed goals for market share growth, topline revenue, and new customers.
  • Trusted Advisor Role: Act as a trusted advisor for new and existing VEGA clients to ensure they receive platinum service and achieve their business objectives.
  • Relationship Building: Develop close working relationships with key customer personnel and VEGA sales and technical personnel to ensure a team-selling approach and enhanced sales position.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1+ year(s) of experience in industrial automation or instrumentation, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Competitive Salary: $70,000-$120,000 USD.
