About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Relationship Banker to join our team at Wells Fargo Bank. As a Relationship Banker, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, understanding their financial needs, and providing personalized solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their financial goals and objectives.
  • Financial Needs Assessment: Assess customers' financial needs and provide personalized solutions to meet those needs.
  • Product and Service Offerings: Identify opportunities to offer a full range of Wells Fargo retail banking deposit and credit products and services to customers.
  • Account Management: Open and service accounts within authorized limits, create plans for follow-up and scheduled contacts with customers.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Provide information to internal partners and external sources to further enhance the customer experience.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience: 2+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Assessment and Meeting Customer Needs: 1+ year of assessing and meeting the needs of customers or helping with issue resolution, demonstrated through work or military experience.
  • Relationship Building and Maintenance: 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners.
Preferred Qualifications
  • FINRA Registration: Successfully completed Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 6 and Series 63 examinations (or FINRA recognized equivalents) sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration.
  • State Insurance License: State Insurance license(s) are required for this role and must be completed within a specified period.
  • Customer Service Focus: Customer service focus with experience handling transactions across multiple systems.
  • Relationship Building and Maintenance: Proficient with proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues.
