We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated Firefighters to join our team at the City and County of San Francisco. As a Firefighter, you will be responsible for responding to emergency situations, providing fire suppression and rescue services, and engaging in fire prevention activities.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to emergency calls and provide fire suppression and rescue services
- Engage in fire prevention activities, including inspections and education
- Administer first aid and provide medical care as needed
- Work effectively with other team members to achieve departmental goals
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Age: Must be at least 19 years old at the time of application and at least 20 years old at the time of appointment
- Education: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Driving Record: Must possess a valid California Driver License and have a clean driving record
- Criminal Record: Must not have been convicted of a felony or have any outstanding warrants
- EMT certification
- CPAT certification
- Experience in firefighting or a related field
