We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at One Haus - San Francisco. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the development and execution of our culinary offerings, ensuring consistency in the execution of our brand's culinary standards.
Key Responsibilities- Culinary Leadership: Provide direction and guidance to the culinary team, ensuring quality standards are achieved and maintained.
- Menu Development: Develop and implement new menu items, using a variety of cooking techniques and ingredients, to ensure a unique and exciting dining experience for our guests.
- Operational Efficiency: Work closely with the purchasing and receiving team to ensure that all ingredients and supplies are available, and that the kitchen is running efficiently and effectively.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional service.
- Financial Management: Work closely with the finance team to manage food costs, labor costs, and other financial aspects of the kitchen, ensuring that we are meeting our financial objectives.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed, and that the kitchen is a safe and healthy environment for our staff and guests.
- Minimum 6-10 years' experience working in a fine dining restaurant or establishment of similar caliber.
- Minimum 3-4 years' experience in a Senior Chef role (Head Chef, CDC or equivalent) in a fine dining restaurant.
- High School Diploma, or equivalent level of education, required.
- Associate degree or equivalent Certification in Culinary Arts.
- Strong financial and computer skills, with experience working with and an understanding of P&L and budgeting.
- Ability to navigate and utilize Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Impeccable service standards, attention to detail, and time management.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and communicate in clear English.
- Competitive Base Salary - $120,000-$130,000/year.
