The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director of DMD Marketing to join our brand team and drive the commercial success of our DMD product portfolio. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute marketing strategies, drive product launches, and enhance brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the DMD brand strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and consistency of brand messaging across all channels.
  • Partner with clinical, regulatory, medical affairs, and sales teams to ensure effective marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including patient advocacy groups, healthcare professionals, and key opinion leaders.
  • Oversee the development and execution of marketing activities related to medical conventions, exhibits, and trade shows.
  • Collaborate with market research, medical, and sales teams to inform marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Manage agency partners to ensure strong alignment with marketing strategy, business processes, and project plans.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA, MS) is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on rare diseases or specialty markets.
  • Experience with successful product launches and brand management in a highly regulated environment.
  • Previous experience with DMD or neuromuscular disorders is a plus.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to work effectively in a strongly collaborative and matrixed environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in pharmaceutical marketing.
What We Offer
  • The base salary range for this role is $180,200 - $199,200. The final compensation will be commensurate with such factors as relevant experience, skillset, internal equity, and market factors.
