POSITION SUMMARY:

The Procurement and Supply Chain Operations Leader will oversee the execution and assessment of all logistics and procurement functions. This role encompasses production planning, material acquisition, inventory management, pricing strategies, vendor selection, and distribution coordination. The individual will evaluate the supply chain performance against established cost and timeline benchmarks, ensuring seamless operations across Jindal Films Americas.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate effectively across departments to ensure the successful execution of integrated supply chain initiatives.
  • Develop and oversee the materials planning process for operational needs.
  • Generate item-specific forecasts for ordering and inventory management.
  • Establish integrated workflows among Operations, Purchasing, Logistics, and external suppliers to enhance planning and replenishment.
  • Identify and implement necessary systems tools for planning and forecasting.
  • Engage with staff and management to share insights, resolve issues, and clarify objectives.
  • Anticipate potential challenges to mitigate impacts on operations.
  • Supervise and mentor staff responsible for material requirement planning and forecasting.
  • Lead the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of supply chain personnel.
  • Set and monitor key performance indicators related to supply chain planning and forecasting.
  • Regularly assess actual performance against goals and report findings to senior management.
  • Coordinate solutions for complex logistics challenges with various stakeholders.
  • Manage transportation logistics aligned with customer-driven production schedules.
  • Formulate and execute logistics strategies, including supplier contracts and routing guidelines.
  • Oversee relationships with third-party logistics vendors.
  • Evaluate supply chain requirements and determine optimal shipment methods.
  • Collaborate with carriers and customs brokers to expedite shipments.
  • Enhance sourcing strategies for all products within Jindal Films Americas.
  • Implement effective pricing management and order fulfillment practices to achieve productivity and inventory goals.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the supply base and sourcing practices to identify value-driven initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively to focus on value-added solutions that yield quality outcomes.
  • Build strong internal and global networks to foster innovative ideas that drive success.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields. Other relevant disciplines may be considered based on experience.
  • MBA is preferred.
  • Experience with SAP ERP, particularly in Material Management and Purchase Order management.
  • Proficient in data management and Microsoft software, including advanced Excel skills.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement processes and best practices.
  • At least 7 years of managerial experience.
