POSITION SUMMARY: ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Primary financial contact for Jindal Films Americas, responsible for overseeing key aspects of financial reporting and accounting for manufacturing operations.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices to vendors and plant personnel.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS requirements, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • Oversee the back-end of payables, facilitating reconciliation and payment of invoices, and collaborating with Procurement, vendors, and plant personnel.
  • Provide guidance on accounting issues, including inventories, fixed assets, manufacturing, and cost accounting, to Accounting Specialist, Plant Analyst, and Manufacturing teams.
  • Supervise the monthly closing process for the plant, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate property tax submissions and manage ad hoc financial requests.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of financial and accounting experience.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Strong understanding of complex financial and accounting transactions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Performance-oriented and proactive.
  • Project management skills and process-oriented.
  • Ability to work with a diverse range of manufacturing positions and across different cultures.
