North Central Surgical Center, a highly successful Baylor Scott & White affiliated hospital in Dallas, TX, is seeking a skilled Laboratory Director to join our team.

Job SummaryThe Laboratory Director will be responsible for providing knowledge and expertise regarding laboratory testing, developing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with CLIA and Joint Commission requirements, and analyzing data to inform medical director review and approval.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership and guidance to laboratory staff, including lab supervisors, medical technologists, lab technicians, and phlebotomists.
- Collaborate with medical director of lab services, physicians, and other department heads to ensure seamless laboratory operations.
- Analyze data and develop reports to inform medical director review and approval.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in medical technology or a related field.
- Certification by one of the following accrediting agencies: MLS(ASCP), HTL(ASCP), CT (ASCP), MT(HEW), MLS(AMT), or CLS(NCA).
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in an accredited laboratory.
- Experience with point-of-care testing.
- Knowledge of governmental and regulating policies/standards.
- Basic computer skills.
