North Central Surgical Center, a highly successful Baylor Scott & White affiliated hospital in Dallas, TX, is seeking a skilled Lab Director Regional to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures to ensure compliance with CLIA and Joint Commission requirements.
- Analyze data and coordinate the development of reports for medical director review and approval.
- Supervise lab staff, including lab supervisors, medical technologists, lab technicians, lab assistants, and phlebotomists.
- Collaborate with CNO, medical director of lab services, physicians, and other department heads.
- Bachelor's degree in medical technology or a related field; master's degree preferred.
- Certification by a recognized accrediting agency, such as MLS(ASCP) or HTL(ASCP).
- At least 3 years of experience in an accredited laboratory, including experience with point-of-care testing.
- Knowledge of governmental and regulatory policies/standards.
- Basic computer skills and ability to detect color and color changes.
