We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Director Regional to join our team at North Central Surgical Center, a highly successful, Baylor Scott & White affiliated hospital located in Dallas, TX.
About North CentralNorth Central Surgical Center is a 14-operating room, 30-medical/surgical patient room facility that has been serving the community since 2005. We are conveniently located at Walnut Hill & 75 in the prestigious NorthPark area and are accredited by the Joint Commission.
Job SummaryThe Laboratory Director Regional will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the laboratory team, ensuring compliance with all CLIA and Joint Commission requirements, and analyzing data to develop reports for medical director review and approval.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Supervise laboratory staff, including lab supervisors, medical technologists, lab technicians, lab assistants, and phlebotomists.
- Collaborate with the medical director of lab services and other department heads to ensure seamless operations.
- Analyze data and develop reports for medical director review and approval.
To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in medical technology or a related field and be certified by one of the following accrediting agencies: MLS(ASCP), HTL(ASCP), CT(ASCP), MT(HEW), MLS(AMT), or CLS(NCA). A minimum of 3 years' experience in an accredited laboratory is required, with experience in point-of-care testing, knowledge of governmental and regulating policies/standards, and basic computer skills.
