Job Summary

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests during check-in, throughout their stay, and at checkout. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer guest inquiries regarding restaurants, transportation, and entertainment
  • Follow all cash handling and credit policies
  • Be aware of all rates, packages, and special promotions
  • Be familiar with in-house groups and closed-out dates
  • Obtain necessary information when taking room reservations and follow rate-quoting scenarios
  • Be familiar with hospitality terminology and emergency procedures
  • Handle check-ins and checkouts in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner
  • Use proper two-way radio etiquette when communicating with other employees
  • Fully comprehend and operate all relevant aspects of the Front Desk computer system
Requirements
  • College coursework in a related field is helpful
  • Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • Computer experience is required
  • Customer service experience is preferred
Working Conditions

The Front Desk Agent will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, interacting with guests and employees on a daily basis. The ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain a positive attitude in a high-pressure environment is essential.
