The Role

The Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant will collaborate with hiring managers to effectively fill vacancies while ensuring that all quality standards and service level agreements are upheld. This role involves delivering exceptional recruitment services aligned with established benchmarks, acting as a guardian of candidate quality and the hiring manager experience, while working closely with teams such as Sourcing and Administration.

Senior Consultants will be dedicated to client business units or stakeholder groups that necessitate additional focus. This may involve multiple interview rounds, data-driven consultations, complex offer negotiations, intricate compensation structures, or interactions with senior hiring managers. They will engage in a meticulous workflow, dedicating more time to each phase of the recruitment process compared to standard recruiters.
Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management
  • Establish and nurture trusted partnerships with senior hiring managers and stakeholders. Independently manage the end-to-end recruitment process, providing expert counsel and insights on recruitment strategies while ensuring timelines are met.
  • Lead discussions on attraction strategies, collaborating with Sourcing and hiring managers to identify the best approach based on market conditions and hiring needs.
  • Offer recommendations for optimal candidate profiles, coaching hiring managers on realistic expectations.
Internal Collaboration
  • Track funnel metrics in partnership with Sourcing to proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Work collaboratively with relevant teams, such as Sourcing and Administration, to ensure a seamless experience for clients and candidates.
  • Mentor and guide Recruiters, Sourcers, and Administrators on best practices and client culture, aiding them in achieving success in their roles.
Recruitment Execution
  • Assume full responsibility for delivering recruitment services in accordance with contractual obligations and client service level agreements.
  • Facilitate vacancy consultation discussions with the Sourcing team to establish recruitment plans with hiring managers, including role specifications, sourcing strategies, diversity and inclusion requirements, compensation ranges, timelines, and selection processes.
  • Collaborate with the Sourcing team to refine high-quality candidate lists and jointly review shortlists with hiring managers.
  • Ensure an excellent candidate experience alongside the Sourcing team, managing candidate satisfaction throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Assist hiring managers in making informed hiring decisions and provide guidance as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in comprehensive recruitment delivery within the Financial Services sector is essential.
  • Familiarity with attraction and candidate sourcing strategies (e.g., online sourcing, networking, advertising, and database searches).
  • Proficient in utilizing recruitment technology.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Experience in a complex or matrixed organizational environment.
  • Experience working with remote teams.
  • Familiarity with database systems.
