Job Title: Territory Manager

US Foods is seeking a skilled Territory Manager to develop and manage established and new customers, driving sales and profitability goals in the food industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster strong customer relationships and engage in value-added activities to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage deliveries to published routing schedules, troubleshoot issues, and communicate with the credit department to collect accounts receivable.
  • Identify new business opportunities, develop new customers, and leverage market intelligence databases and business directories.
  • Stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales to share information with customers and provide value-added services.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
  • Foodservice industry, culinary, restaurant management, or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, presentation abilities, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships, cold call, and develop new business.
  • Competitive spirit, results-driven mentality, problem-solving ability, organization, and negotiation skills.
  • Team up mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office products, and experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools preferred.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
