AEG is seeking to enhance its team with a dynamic individual focused on navigating the evolving landscape of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL). Following the NCAA policy modification, student-athletes nationwide can now receive compensation for their NIL, creating fresh opportunities for brand partners to engage in influencer marketing with these athletes as part of their sponsorship packages (including appearances, social media engagement, etc.). In this capacity, you will assist AEG in executing NIL agreements for brand partners. The NIL Partnerships Coordinator will be responsible for managing all inventory aspects related to NIL activations and providing performance reports to brand partners. This position will report to the Director of Partnership Services, who oversees activation initiatives and will collaborate closely with the General Manager. Additionally, this role will cultivate essential relationships with AEG's athletic department personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all inventory tracking associated with NIL agreements, including proposals, sales, and available inventory, while providing weekly reports and updates for internal meetings.
  • Facilitate the activation of NIL agreements, ensuring student-athletes meet their obligations with brand partners at fair market value.
  • Collaborate with local brands to understand their marketing objectives and develop potential campaigns that can be executed with student-athletes.
  • Oversee sponsorship relationships, including activation efforts, partner events, and discussions with student-athletes regarding sponsorships and other NIL-related events.
  • Assist with AEG's operational activities during events, including major sporting events.
  • Coordinate with the athletic department to ensure compliance of student-athletes with NIL agreements is monitored, disclosed, and reported appropriately.
  • Stay updated on NIL developments, including student-athlete agreements nationwide, legislative changes, and ongoing trends. Participate in corporate NIL working groups to share best practices and successful strategies.
  • Complete additional sales, fulfillment, and operational tasks as assigned by the Director of Partnership Services.
Qualifications
  • Experience in sports, NIL, college athletics, or sponsorship is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, sports administration, marketing, advertising, or a related field; 0-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, including during events and activations that may occur outside traditional working hours.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • High initiative, particularly in sales generation and process enhancement.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality of work.
  • Able to lead and inspire others.
  • Results-oriented; committed to achieving objectives.
  • Capable of developing and maintaining strong relationships across diverse demographics.
  • Strong learning aptitude; highly inquisitive.
  • Desire to establish a long-term career in sports marketing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
