Job Overview

The Project Manager will lead the adoption of Project Management methodologies and practices to enhance organizational initiatives, strategies, and processes. Key responsibilities will encompass:

The Project Manager will be responsible for creating and regularly updating project plans, monitoring project progress and budget, maintaining detailed risk logs, and preparing management reports on project outcomes and status.

Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of three to five years in a similar or related role. Experience in lending, operations, or project management within a credit union or banking environment is preferred.

Education: A college degree (BS or BA) in a relevant field is required, along with Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or the ability to obtain it within a year.

Interpersonal Skills: This role involves significant personal interaction with others both inside and outside the organization, focusing on conflict resolution, relationship building, and fostering cooperation. Discussions will require a high level of confidentiality and discretion, necessitating diplomacy and tact in communication. Proficiency in problem analysis and resolution at both strategic and functional levels is essential.

Additional Skills: Familiarity with API and cloud-based system integrations; experience with cloud, desktop, and business process flows, including proficiency in Power Automate or similar systems; strong attention to detail; exceptional verbal and written communication skills; and excellent prioritization and organizational abilities.

Physical Requirements: The role requires the ability to see, talk, sit, stand, push, pull, reach, grasp, and utilize fine motor coordination of the hands; and the capacity to lift and carry up to 10 pounds regularly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
