Job Description:

As the Facilities Operations Manager, you will oversee all operational aspects of the College of Engineering facilities, encompassing over 400,000 square feet of building space.

Your responsibilities will include collaborating with Facility Services and external contractors to identify and resolve maintenance issues, ensuring quality assurance in maintenance activities, and maintaining the overall condition of College Facilities.

Inventory and Asset Management:
You will be tasked with the management and coordination of asset and space inventories for the College of Engineering.

This includes verifying and coordinating these inventories with various departments, as well as maintaining accurate records at the college level.

Event Coordination:
You will provide logistical support for events hosted by the College of Engineering, which involves space planning, setup coordination, and takedown. You will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful event execution. Safety Oversight:
As the Safety Coordinator for the College, you will conduct safety training sessions and perform regular building inspections to identify safety concerns. Additional Responsibilities:
You will also be expected to respond to various requests from College administration, manage college-owned electric vehicles, and procure necessary supplies and materials. Additionally, you will be responsible for advising and coordinating responses to emergencies on a 24-hour basis.

Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree along with 3 years of experience in facilities management, construction trades, or building maintenance is required.

Additional Requirements:
Candidates will be required to undergo an Office of Motor Vehicles Report (MVR) and are subject to drug screenings as per PM-33/PS-67/FASOP HR-04. A valid Driver's License is mandatory.

Special Instructions:

Manage all facilities and infrastructure associated with the College of Engineering.

This includes addressing maintenance concerns, overseeing maintenance and renovation projects, conducting inspections, managing inventories, and assisting with event setup and coordination.


Flexibility to work additional hours outside of normal business hours may be necessary for special projects, and availability on a 24-hour basis to handle emergencies is required.
