Key Responsibilities- Ensure the safe and compliant operation of the facility, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce plant operating costs and improve productivity.
- Lead reliability, compliance, quality, and safety programs for assigned areas, ensuring required government and/or environmental regulations are met.
- Manage employee performance, providing guidance, feedback, and development for career progression and performance improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in productivity, cost savings, and safety culture.
- Develop and implement Operational Excellence strategies to drive business growth and improvement.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in an industrial plant environment, including production, distribution, safety, and/or plant maintenance.
- 5+ years of direct management and development experience, with demonstrated results.
- Knowledge of Process Safety Management standards and procedures governing safe operation of EPA RMP and PSM covered facilities.
- Experience with Six Sigma or Lean methodologies is preferred.
