Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the overall appearance and condition of our properties, including painting and cleaning of internal and external areas.
  • Perform maintenance work, including mechanical repairs, code compliance, and capital improvement projects.
  • Schedule and oversee capital improvement projects and apartment work.
  • Manage the procurement of materials and services for maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensure that all appliances are in good working condition and repair or replace as needed.
  • Manage the maintenance staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance budgets and schedules.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to ensure that all maintenance activities are aligned with company goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Additional education or certifications in a related field (e.g. HVAC, electrical) preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a maintenance or facilities role.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires regular attendance and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
