Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Parking Attendant to join our team at SP+. As a Parking Attendant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our parking facilities, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces, provide assistance with parking and retrieving vehicles, and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Parking Lot Management: Count vehicles on location throughout the shift, ensure that cars are parked in an appropriate fashion, and maintain a clean and presentable parking lot.
  • Facility Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment, report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the Facility Manager, and perform general maintenance tasks as directed.
  • Communication: Communicate with customers, colleagues, and management in a clear and effective manner, and respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals, provide support and assistance as needed, and contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Less than High School education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • License: A valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
  • Availability: Availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or week-ends may be a requirement.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's, and ability to perform these operations using units of American money.
