Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Operations
    • Plan and coordinate all facility operations, including the development of facilities maintenance policies and procedures.
    • Manage the process and policies regarding the inventory and upkeep of equipment and supplies.
  • Preventative Maintenance
    • Create and manage the deployment of a preventative maintenance program for each facility.
    • Create inspection protocols to determine need for facility repairs or renovations; forecast maintenance needs for consideration in annual property budgets.
  • Staff Supervision
    • Responsible for oversight, training, and supervision of all facilities staff.
    • Interface with external contractors as required.
  • Service Contracts
    • Facilitate service contracts for VP, Property Management approval.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • Minimum ten years of related and hands-on experience, including construction and/or maintenance experience.
    • Proficient in the use of technology, Microsoft Office products, and Property Management software (OneSite a plus).
  • Abilities
    • Ability to manage staff effectively.
    • Ability to read blueprints.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent relationship-building skills.
    • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
Qualifications
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • Minimum eight years of experience in the field.
  • Abilities
    • Ability to communicate effectively.
    • Ability to create and monitor protocols and work both independently and collaboratively.
