We are currently in search of a Project Manager to oversee significant project initiatives or multiple concurrent projects. This role will involve managing subcontractors, high-value materials, and diverse resources. Your key responsibilities will encompass the management and coordination of design, procurement, implementation, and commissioning phases, ensuring both commercial and technical success. You will play a pivotal role in crafting project proposals and evaluating cost estimates. Additionally, you will foster a clear understanding of client objectives, ensuring alignment with our company’s goals to surpass client expectations and maintain profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proposal Leadership: Engage in the development of project scope, scheduling, and cost estimates, ensuring a seamless transition from Business Development.
  • Client Engagement: Facilitate effective communication among clients, project teams, and management throughout all project phases, adeptly addressing any scope, schedule, or cost challenges.
  • Project Planning: Create a comprehensive labor resource and procurement plan to align with client timelines and financial requirements.
  • Scope Management: Maintain strict control over project scope and compliance with specifications, proactively managing change orders and identifying additional opportunities.
  • Cost Management: Develop and monitor project budgets, manage cost forecasts, and prevent overruns through diligent financial oversight.
  • Team Leadership: Guide the project team to achieve milestones on time and within budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and effective communication of project progress.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a project engineering role, with at least 3 years dedicated to project management.
  • A collaborative mindset and a strong commitment to teamwork.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with Project Management Institute (PMI) standards.
  • Ability to lead geographically dispersed teams through technology.
  • Experience in managing contracts and subcontractors.
  • Familiarity with industrial control projects.
  • Experience with project budget management and fiscal accountability.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support project activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in Controls Engineering.
  • Experience with design projects.
  • Familiarity with project management software such as MS Project.
  • Experience in the Food and Beverage sector is a plus.
  • Experience managing control systems and related industrial projects.
