Key Responsibilities:

  • Support a dedicated team responsible for creating software that serves millions of users while reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Engineering.
  • Oversee project management tools to guarantee that the engineering organization meets its key performance indicators, establishes clear roadmaps, and manages interdepartmental timelines.
  • Collaborate with engineers, data analysts, finance, and other vital business stakeholders to refine scalable and effective solutions.
  • Assist in the financial management of software development within engineering, focusing on cost management for key products.
  • Foster collaboration across all departments, leading cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing overall organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Document and diagram project requirements, architecture, and processes.
  • Prepare technical leaders for various speaking engagements, including creating presentations and occasionally presenting.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in managing project requirements and supporting engineering or technical teams.
  • Proven ability to gather and analyze data to support data-driven decision-making related to project and program definition.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present issues clearly and concisely.
  • Strong organizational skills, with experience managing multiple projects and expectations at an executive level.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira and Asana.
  • Comfortable working with teams across various time zones and in both in-person and remote settings.
  • Experience in vendor negotiations and contract management, including budget forecasting and resource management.
  • Proficient in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
